At UL Lafayette, we offer dozens of minors that will enrich your studies at the University. By pursuing a minor, you can expand your knowledge and skills, which better prepare you for any career. Most minors focus on a particular discipline (like history or geology), while some are more interdisciplinary in nature and include courses from a variety of disciplines, like African American Studies.

If you choose a major in the College of Liberal Arts, you're required to complete a minor before graduation. If your major is in any other college, you can choose to pursue a minor, but it may increase the number of classes you need to take before graduation.

There are special minors available to College of Liberal Arts students, special minors for engineering students, and special minors for business students.

To view all of the minors open to all students, regardless of major, visit the catalog.
