Program Requirements

In order to complete a minor in gender and sexuality studies, you will need to complete 18 credits hours of relevant courses, with a minimum of 6 credit hours at the 300 or 400 levels.

To earn your minor, you are required to take:

HUMN 200 Ideas and issues: Intro to Gender & Sexualities Studies special topic
SOCI 354 Sociology of Sex and Sexualities

For the remaining 12 hours required, you can choose from a list of pre-approved courses for the minor.

Credit hours earned for your major will not be counted toward your minor.
