The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has partnered with other institutions across the state through transfer agreements to simplify the transfer process as well as awarding of credit towards a baccalaureate degree.
What are transfer agreements?
Transfer agreements (also known as articulation agreements or partnerships) are formal agreements between two or more institutions documenting the transfer policies for a specific academic program or for a degree in general.
How can transfer agreements help transfer students?
• Transfer agreements are designed to simplify the transition from a two-year college to a four-year college/university.
• The student benefits by following a very specific coursework plan that only includes courses that are applicable towards a degree. These plans reduce the loss of course credits!
• Transfer agreements simplify the process of determining what courses to take. By eliminating the guesswork, transfer agreements save students time and money.
