What You’ll Study
As a music major with a concentration in piano pedagogy, you'll take courses within the following categories, as well as ensemble participation.
- Private piano instruction
- Pedagogy and curriculum courses
- Theory, history, and analysis
- Internship in piano teaching

Capstone projects:
- A semester-long teaching practicum
- Senior recital as performer and educator in practice
Total credits: 120–132, including 45 upper-level hours at the 300/400 level.
