Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc. (UNITED), the third largest bottler of Coca-Cola products in the U.S., and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette have extended their relationship for another 10 years.

The renewed deal gives Coca-Cola UNITED the ability to partner with more than 19,000 students on the UL Lafayette campus and support the nationally recognized Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns athletic program. Coca-Cola UNITED offers a variety of beverages from its vast portfolio, including Dasani, POWERADE, BODYARMOR and Minute Maid, as well as the traditional Coca-Cola brands.

“We’re excited for this next chapter in our partnership with UL Lafayette and to serve its students, faculty and staff,” said Susanne Hall, vice president of Coca-Cola UNITED’s West Region, which covers most of Louisiana, parts of south Mississippi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. “Local relationships have been the foundation of our business for 120 years. We value our relationships and we’re proud to be part of the communities we serve.”

Lafayette Coca-Cola Bottling Company, a sales and distribution center of Coca-Cola UNITED, will continue to service the UL Lafayette campus as part of the agreement, said Chris Alack, Lafayette Coca-Cola sales center manager.

“UL Lafayette is a world-renowned institution that we are proud to serve at the highest levels,” Alack said. “Our commitment to the University, as well as the greater Lafayette community, is as strong as it’s ever been.”

“The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has enjoyed an exceptionally strong partnership with Coca-Cola for the past decade, and we’re excited to extend that association for another 10 years,” said Duane Bailey, director of Campus Auxiliary Services and deputy director of Athletics.
