On Nov. 16, UL Lafayette’s Renewable Resources Department will host a symposium to address the impact of Katrina on the environment and society.
The event will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. in Hamilton Hall. It is free and open to the public. Featured speakers include those from The National Wetland Research Center, the Louisiana Environmental Action Network, the Peoples Hurricane Relief Committee, the Environmental Protection Agency, and University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
