Information and artifacts from cultural anthropology, forensic anthropology, paleontology, physical anthropology and underwater archaeology are on display at Edith Garland Dupré Library at UL Lafayette.
The exhibit is part of Louisiana Archaeology Week and is being presented by the faculty of UL Lafayette’s Anthropology Department.
Exhibit features include bones, pottery, projectile points, teeth, tools, photographs and maps from excavations and research in Louisiana and from sites around the world. Coordinators of the exhibit are Dr. Ray Brassieur, Dan Cring, Dr. Chip McGimsey and Dr. Mark Rees.
It is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display until Oct. 31.
