Get hands-on cooking instruction from Chef Colt Patin, one of Louisiana Cooking Magazine’s “Top Five Chefs to Watch” for 2011, through a UL Lafayette Potpourri class.

In this new, fall series, you will cover a variety of Cajun dishes with a creative twist. All recipes and food ingredients are included in the fee, which is $50 per option.

• Ca C’est Bon Series: Crock Pot 101, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2 – 4 p.m.

• Ca C’est Bon Series: Kitchen Basics, Saturday, Nov. 9, 10 a.m. –Noon

• Ca C’est Bon Series: Cajun Basics, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2 – 4 p.m.

• Ca C’est Bon Series: International, Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.  – Noon

• Ca C’est Bon Series: Comfort Foods, Saturday, Dec. 14,  2 – 4 p.m.
