Lafayette Artist's Work on Display at Dupré Library

Published

An exhibit of 36 paintings and drawings by Lafayette artist Eugene Martin is on exhibit now through April in the main hall of Edith Garland Dupré Library at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Martin, a Washington, D.C. native who died Jan. 1, 2005, was educated at the Corcoran School of Arts. His work has been shown all over the world. The 36 pieces on display in Dupré Library reflect the diversity of his work, bright colors, fanciful shapes, and the fun he found in creation.

The public is invited to view the exhibit during regular library hours. Call 482-2665 for hours.
