The University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Ruben Henderson has received the Dan Seymour Award for Outstanding Commitment to Student Affairs.
The yearly award is given by Louisiana Association of College and University Student Personnel Administrators. It recognizes student affairs professionals for their contributions to the association.
Henderson is associate director of undergraduate recruitment for UL Lafayette’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment.
He has been recognized by LACUSPA in the past, earning its Outstanding Mid-Level Professional of the Year Award and its Outstanding Graduate or Professional Student Award.
LACUSPA, which was established in 1974, provides support, resources and networking opportunities for higher education administrators who mentor and interact with students regularly.
