The student chapter of the Louisiana Engineering Society and the College of Engineering will host Technology and Expo Day for high school students, educators and parents.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 26, at Madison Hall at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Prospective students will learn about the University’s engineering programs and careers that are available to engineering graduates. Attendees can tour labs and classrooms, meet professors and students, talk with representatives of UL Lafayette and industry, view exhibits, and participate in fun competitions.

Technology and Expo Day is part of Engineering and Technology Week activities planned for March 23-27 at Madison and Rougeou halls.

Engineering and Technology Week is held on campus each spring for engineering students. They participate in design, poster, writing and quiz bowl contests that emphasize ways engineering and technology impact today’s world.
