CC's to move into permanent campus digs

CC's Coffee House has been a staple on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus for 10 years, serving customers from a trailer on Rex Street, near St. Mary Boulevard.

Beginning Friday, Aug. 30, CC's will have a roof over its head when it moves just up the block, to 200 E. St. Mary Blvd. The shop will share space with Subway restaurant.

CC's Coffee House is a division of Community Coffee. According to its website, Community Coffee Company is the largest family-owned retail coffee brand in the United States. It was established in Baton Rouge in 1919. The first CC's Coffee house was opened on Magazine Street in New Orleans in 1995.
