Updates
The following are weather-related updates for Monday, Jan. 26:
On-campus dining will be available as follows:
- Cypress Lake Dining Hall, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m
- Chick-fil-A, 10:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- Starbucks, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- Smoothie King, 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
- McAlister’s Deli, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- All other dining will be closed.
There will be no campus bus or shuttle service.
Student residents should use caution when walking on campus. Watch for slick, icy areas where water may have accumulated, particularly beneath trees and close to buildings.
Reminders
As a reminder, the following are campus announcements sent on Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25.
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will transition to remote instruction and remote operations on Monday, Jan. 26, for weather.
The drop and add period will be extended to Wednesday, Jan. 28.
Students who are unable to participate in classes remotely should contact their professors. If a student needs further assistance, they can contact the Office of the Dean of Students at deanofstudents@louisiana.edu.
Faculty and staff members who are unable to work remotely should contact their immediate supervisors.
Edith Garland Dupré Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, but remote services will be available.
Get research assistance from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, via the Ask a Librarian chat service on the website.

The University will continue to monitor weather and road conditions. An email regarding plans for Tuesday, Jan. 27, will be sent by 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26. Monitor your University email address and the University’s website and official social media accounts for updates.
