Sophomore Blake Trahan's homer in the seventh lifted the top-seeded and second-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team to 6-5 victory over UT Arlington in the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship game on Sunday afternoon at Stanky Field.

The tournament title is the second in program history and first since 1998. The Cajuns (53-7) set a new Sun Belt record for wins in a season, breaking the previous record of 52 set by South Florida in 1986.

The win also gives the Ragin' Cajuns an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament as the program will make its second straight appearance in the tournament riding the nation's longest win streak at 10 games.

Sunday evening, the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee announced the 16 regional sites, including the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, for the 68th annual NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
