15 Students Finish with 4.0 GPAs

spring 06 Top GradsThe University of Louisiana at Lafayette recognized 15 students who earned the highest grade point averages during Spring 2006 Commencement Ceremonies May 20. Those students include:

• Seth Paul Boudreaux, who earned a 4.0. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Sciences with a major in Mathematics. He is the son of Stacey and Sara Boudreaux of Delcambre.

• Leslie A. Dupré, who earned a 4.0. She was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. Her major was in Marketing. She is the daughter of Joseph and Cindy Dupré of Opelousas.

• Kelley L. Dupuis, who earned a 4.0. She was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She is the daughter of Glenn and Janet Dupuis of Opelousas.

• Michelle Claire Gauthier, who earned a 4.0. She was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education. Her major was Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Grades PK-3. She is the daughter of Lester and Irene Gauthier of Lafayette.

• Benjamin Paul Granger, who earned a 4.0. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Liberal Arts. His major was Psychology. His parents are Edward and Elizabeth Granger of New Iberia.

• April Dawn Hanks, who earned a 4.0. She was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College of the Arts. She majored in Visual Arts and is the daughter of Britt and Candy Hanks of Duson.

• Megan Elizabeth Hebert, who earned a 4.0. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts. She majored in Public Relations and is the daughter of Gene and Nancy Hebert of Selmer, Tenn.

• Wallace Andrew LaFont Jr., who earned a 4.0. He was awarded an Honors Bachelor of Music degree from the College of the Arts. His major was Music and he is the son of Suzette and Wallace LaFont Sr. of Montegut.

• Tesha Gayle Landry, who earned a 4.0. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. She majored in Marketing and is the daughter of Louis and Linda Landry of Duson.

• Leah Catherine Legere, who earned a 4.0. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts. She majored in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Her parents are Felix and Laurie Legere of Abbeville.

• Lana Blair Meche, who earned a 4.0. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts. Her major was Public Relations. She is the daughter of Lanard and Bernella Meche of Arnaudville.

• Tiffany Pouliot Menard, who earned a 4.0. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education. Her major was Middle School Education with a concentration in grades 4-8. She is the wife of Ryan Menard of New Iberia and daughter of Ernest and Donna Pouliot of St. Martinville.

• Lanminh Ngoc Pham, who earned a 4.0. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Sciences. She majored in Biology. Her parents are Tan and Levy Pham of Abbeville.

• Melanie Elizabeth Ruiz, who earned a 4.0. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. She majored in Finance and is the daughter of Reuben and Nancy Ruiz of Prairieville.
