A team of four UL Lafayette students have won an international competition with a focus on making chemical refineries safer places to work.
A special cultural and eco-tourism summit, featuring Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu, will be held Monday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at the Clifton Chenier Center in Lafayette.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is co-hosted by the Center for Cultural and Eco-Tourism and the Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission.
Landrieu will give a speech entitled “Higher Common Ground (There but for the Grace of God Go I).”
