RequirementsTo attend UL Lafayette as a J-1/visiting student, you must:

Forms & DocumentsWhen you complete your application, you will also be required to submit these forms.
Fill out the Confidential Financial Guarantee form [PDF]. Submit it along with a current bank statement.
You don’t have to submit this form if you are a refugee or permanent resident.
You will need to complete the J-1 Exchange Visitor Application Packet.
You will need to provide a letter from your home institution recommending that you be an exchange student at UL Lafayette.
You will need to submit a resume with all relevant work experience and correct mailing address.
All students must submit an immunization form before you can register for classes. You can submit it at the same time or after your admissions application.
You must be screened for tuberculosis (TB) and be immunized against measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus-diphtheria.
You are able to submit electronic versions of these forms when you fill out your application line.

TranscriptsOfficial English translations must be provided by the American Translators Association. Evaluations of transcripts are also accepted if the evaluating service is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
