Get ready for a week packed with Ragin' Cajun pride as Homecoming 2021 takes over campus.
Homecoming Week: October 24-30, 2021
Beginning Sunday, Oct. 24, UL Lafayette, the University Program Council and the UL Alumni Association will host events all week long, ending with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns squaring off against the Texas State Bobcats at Cajun Field on Saturday, Oct. 30.
All of the following events are open to the public, and we invite all of Lafayette and south Louisiana to share in our school pride.
Sunday, Oct. 24
Campus Scavenger Hunt | The Campus Scavenger Hunt lasts through Friday with prizes for finding items across campus. Teams and individuals welcome. No preregistration required.
Homecoming Mass at Our Lady of Wisdom | A celebration of our Homecoming court and an official mass.
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Paint Your Pride Window Painting | Student organizations and UPC give the Student Union a splash of color.
4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Ragin' Rock 'n' Bowl | Kick off Homecoming Week at Ragin' Rock 'n' Bowl. Includes bowling, food, and music. Register online.
Monday, Oct. 25
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Homecoming Block Party | Homecoming is taking over St. Mary Boulevard! Shop with Red Dot Discount businesses and grab lunch from local businesses and food trucks.
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Cupcake Giveaway at the Student Union Porch | Meet this year's Homecoming Court and grab a sweet treat.
Culture's Fashion Show at the Cajundome Convention Center
Tuesday, Oct. 26
Campus Feud at Angelle Hall | Compete in a Family Feud-style game night with UPC.
Wednesday, Oct. 27
Paint the Town Red - Schools | Schools across Acadiana show their spirit for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Sign up for your school.
11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Wear Red, Get Fed and Campus Cupboard Food Drive in the Quad | Wear your favorite Ragin' Cajuns gear and get free lunch from UPC. Drop off non-perishable food to donate to UL Lafayette's Campus Cupboard.
Cajuns Got Talent in the Cajundome Convention Center | The annual show is back! Individuals, groups, and organizations are invited to compete in this talent show.
Thursday, Oct. 28
Yell Like Hell in the Quad | Students bring the noise in a big way at this Homecoming Pep Rally. Catch the spirit at this night of music, performance, and Ragin' Cajuns fun.
Friday, Oct. 29
Homecoming Tennis Tournament at Red Lerille's | Join fellow alumni and friends for this mixed doubles tournament. Pre-registration required.
Bill Bass Open Golf Tournament | Join alumni and current and former UL Lafayette student-athletes for a four-person scramble golf tournament.
Golden Ambassador Society Dinner at the Petroleum Club | Open to all graduates who have celebrated their 50th graduating class reunion at the University.
NPHC Greek Expo | Watch the NPHC fraternities and sororities strut at the step show.
Saturday, Oct. 30
Cajun Field ticket office opens | Purchase tickets at Cajun Field's LHC Gate C and at the main ticket booth at State Farm Gate A.
Alumni Open House at the Alumni Center | Stop by before the parade and connect with fellow alumni.
Homecoming Parade | The annual Homecoming Parade begins at Blackham Coliseum at 10 a.m. and runs down Johnston Street and St. Mary Boulevard to the Alumni Center.
Alumni Tailgate at Cajun Field | Join Ragin' Cajuns from past and present at the Alumni Hospitality Tent at Cajun Field for food and drinks before kickoff.
Student Tailgate at Cajun Field | UPC hosts student tailgating by Gate E.
Cajun Walk down Reinhardt Drive | Bring your ragin' spirit and wish the team good luck before the big game.
Cajun Field gates open | Stop by the Ragin' Cajuns apparel outlet inside Cajun Field before heading to your seat.
Band begins Ragin' March along Stadium Way | Join the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band in the fight song and the classic "R-E-S-P-E-C-T."
