Biography

Having earned terminal degrees in educational leadership and architecture provides a broad interdisciplinary perspective. Through administrative positions at the departmental and university levels, I have fostered quality academic environments by focusing on student learning, academic priorities, faculty excellence, and a culture of collaboration and innovation. Teaching experience includes undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple departments, including educational leadership, first-year seminars, honors, humanities, and architecture and design.

A significant research achievement was recognized by the National Park Service for a student-research project for the Historic American Building Survey. National Service includes serving on the Board of Directors of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, serving on accreditation teams for the National Architectural Accreditation Board, and the Southern Association and Schools College Commission on Colleges.
