Irv Esters is the Graduate Coordinator and Department Head for the Department of Counseling.
Biography
Irv Esters is Professor and Department Head of Counseling at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he has lead a team of faculty in educating Mental Health Counselors and School Counselors for more than 25 years.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Counseling from McNeese State University and earned the Ph.D. in Counseling and Educational Psychology from Ole Miss. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor in Louisiana.
