Alert: Please review all your outgoing links to the main site
Hello!
We've been tidying up Louisiana.edu and one of our latest edits will affect your websites. In order to create clean up our URLs, /content/ has been removed from all of the sub-section pages. For example, louisiana.edu/content/admissions is now just louisiana.edu/admissions.
This means that links from your site to the main site may now be broken. Please review your pages as soon as possible and replace any links that have the word "content" after louisiana.edu: i.e., louisiana.edu/content/ . Simply removing the word "content" is, in most cases, all you will need to do. However, in some cases this will not work, so check each of your links after editing to verify that they go to the page you intended.
Before you begin reviewing your links, please take the time to review the list of all the sites that have been launched thus far (below). If you link to any pages in the sites listed below, update them.
Don't forget to check your accordian menus and spotlights for links! They are easily overlooked, but are the most likely to hold errant links to your old test site and broken links.
Thank you for your time and patience in this matter. Part of the "newness" of this site requires us to learn as we go. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have created, but we figured it was better to make the change now before more sites are launched. I know this may seem confusing, so if you have questions feel free to call an Aimee / Amy.
FYI: We've added this fix to the new site development process. If you would like us to show you how to remove /content/ from your URLs, let us know and we'll provide a quick training session.
