Stay informed with RSS feeds!

With more and more sites launching and our network of ambassadors growing, our team is working hard to ensure that we can share helpful information with the group to improve your sites. One way we plan to do so is through these blog posts.

We know you have a lot going on. Checking blogs on this site is probably the last thing on your mind. So we figured out how to share our posts with you through RSS feeds, which you can set up to go into folders within your Zimbra account.

Cool, right?

Here's what you do.

  1. Log into Zimbra at https://webmail.zimbra.louisiana.edu/
  2. Above  the Folders heading in the Overview pane, click New Folder.
  3. In the Name field, type the name you want to call this RSS feed folder. For example, I labeled mine as "Web Amb blogs."
  4. Check Subscribe to RSS/ATOM feed.
  5. In the URL field, enter the URL for the feed. To subscribe to our blogs, you'll need to add http://web.louisiana.edu/content/ragin-cms-blogs-feed
  6. Click OK.

The RSS feed icon, rss.png, displays as the folder in your Overview pane, under Inbox. Open the RSS folder to access the link. Your RSS data feed is automatically updated every 12 hours. To update the content at any time, open there RSS folder and click Load Feed.

Hope this helps! Let us know in the comments below if you run into any issues.
