Meet your new Web Team members!

Exciting changes have been happening to the Web Team over the last few months! We have three new team members and one who has shifted to a new role.

Amy Windsor has migrated from her role as Web content strategist to social media strategist. She now oversees all of the University's social media, which plays to her expertise as an internationally known blogger and social media presence. She's excited to work with each of you to strengthen your social media voices and will be reaching out to you soon.

Many of you have already met Sasha Rodriguez, our new Ragin' CMS trainer and technical support. Sasha is a Lafayette native and a UL Lafayette graduate (B.A., English). She also has an associates degree in computer science-network administration from Labette Community College in Parsons, Kansas.

Sasha recently returned to Lafayette after 17 years, and worked as a computer support freelancer before landing the job of her dreams with our I.T. department.

Before she discovered the joys of tech support, she worked primarily in communications and advertising. Sasha is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and we know you are going to love working with her.

Our new Web content strategist is Elizabeth Rose. Elizabeth has stepped in to serve as your content expert and resource now that Amy is focusing only on social media.

She is an alumna of UL Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She has an extensive writing background and will be applying that knowledge as our new Web Content Strategist. She has worked with Web content for multiple businesses, including newspaper, radio, and non-profit websites.

We are thrilled to have her on our team and know that she will be a great partner for all of you!

Chris Welty is our new multimedia specialist. He develops videos and consults on projects that represent the University’s brand. His role on the Web Team is to help develop compelling (and fun!) videos for your websites.

Chris graduated from UL Lafayette in May 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with a focus on broadcasting. You may recognize him from t.v., because before he returned to UL Lafayette in Oct. 2013, Chris was a reporter at KATC.

This guy is super talented, and we're excited to see what he can do for the University and for your websites.
