Help us help you: How can we make the websites better?

We’re embarking on a new adventure! With your help, we’re going to start working on a new look for UL Lafayette’s websites.

“What do you mean, with my help?”

We want your input! We want to know what you love about the University’s website, what you hate, what could be better, what needs to stay the same — all of the things! Let us know and we can design a better version of our sites to fit your needs (and your students’ and coworkers’ and other audiences’ needs).

“Great! How can I help?”

There are two ways you can help: fill out a survey and/or be a part of a focus group.

Take the survey

At the very least, we ask that you please take this survey, which will help answer some of the most basic questions we have about the University website.

Be in a focus group

We would love to get face-to-face feedback about the website and brainstorm what new features or functions we need in the new design. Focus groups will take about an hour, maybe a little longer, but it’s the best way for us to get really valuable feedback — and it’s the best way to make sure your voice is heard.

When you’re done with the survey, there’s an option for you to indicate if you’d like to be in a focus group. Click the “yes” button and give us your email address. After that, we’ll let you know when the next focus groups are scheduled.

Thanks for your help!

We may not say this enough. Thank you. Our websites wouldn’t be nearly as successful as they are without the hard work of our web ambassadors, and we want to make sure we incorporate your feedback into the new design.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email me at webcontent@louisiana.edu.

We’re always aiming to make our websites more effective tools. An effective website has the information that prospective students need so they can choose the right program — and the information that our current students need to succeed while they’re here.
