Organizations & Associations

Some of the most valuable parts of your degree happen outside the classroom. Our student organizations connect you with classmates who share your interests and with the professionals who hire in marketing and sales, through guest speakers, networking events, conferences, and service projects.

Joining an organization is also one of the best ways to build leadership experience before you graduate. Serving as an officer, planning an event, or representing UL Lafayette at a conference gives you real accomplishments to talk about in interviews and on scholarship applications. Both of our organizations welcome students from any major, so you don't have to wait until you've declared to get involved.

Marketing and Sales Organizations

The Ragin' Marketing Association is UL Lafayette's chapter of the American Marketing Association. Members meet industry experts and potential employers at events and workshops, hear from guest speakers, tour local businesses, and can attend the AMA's national conference. Your AMA membership and its online career tools can continue after graduation.

Pi Sigma Epsilon's Gamma Chi Chapter is part of a national co-ed professional fraternity for students in sales, marketing, and management. Members gain hands-on experience, attend regional and national conferences, and network with professionals through the fraternity's corporate partner program.

All Business Majors

These Moody College of Business organizations are open to students in every business major:

  • Beta Gamma Sigma: The international honor society for business students at AACSB-accredited schools, recognizing top academic achievement.
  • Delta Sigma Pi, Kappa Xi Chapter: A professional business fraternity focused on professional development, service, and networking.
  • Student Government Association, Moody College of Business: Represents business students and helps shape student life in the college.
