Here’s a list of stuff to think about bringing with you or shopping for after you move in. We encourage you to consider reducing the amount of personal belongings you bring with you to campus, as doing so will help to ensure you have a quick and easy unloading process.

Things not to bring
- Pets of any kind (even fishbowl!)
- Wi-fi routers (you will be charged a $200 fine every time you're caught using one!)
- Pull-up bars
- Candles or incense
- Window air conditioners
- Candle or wax warmers
- Coffee makers without an automatic shut-off
- Space heaters, electric heating blankets
- Any item from the IT Department's Problematic Device list - including wireless printers
- Hoverboards (campus-wide policy)
- Vape, tobacco, or alcohol, including empty alcohol bottles (campus-wide policy)
- Exposed heating elements like toasters, toaster ovens, convection ovens, etc. (if it gets red, it’s a no-no)
- Weapons (campus-wide policy)
