Graduate Student Appreciation Week Awards

Each spring during Graduate Student Appreciation Week, the Graduate School hosts a series of competitions that not only showcase graduate students’ research, creativity, and communication skills but also award cash prizes to winners. From the Research Showcase to other competitive events, students have the opportunity to earn funding while gaining university-wide recognition.

Additional Funding Opportunities

GSO offers reimbursement-based funding to help offset costs related to research, travel, and select thesis or dissertation expenses, as well professional development and licensure exams. Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about GSO funding opportunities

The Student Government Association offers funding to support graduate students through conference registration reimbursements, limited printing vouchers, and annual scholarships. Availability is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about SGA funding opportunities.

Graduate students may be eligible for financial assistance, including student loans, to help support their education. The Office of Financial Aid works to connect qualified students with available resources. Learn more about financial aid for graduate students.

Many academic colleges and departments offer scholarships specifically for graduate students.
