Official Test Scores (GRE, GMAT, & English Language Proficiency)

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Graduate School takes a holistic approach to admissions decisions.

While GRE or GMAT scores may be an essential part of the application for some programs, applicants should know that test scores are only one of many factors that contribute to an applicant’s admission, denial, or offer of funding. Graduate programs take into account GPA and letters of recommendation, as well as other documents, when assessing an applicant’s academic potential and ability.

The test score requirements may be dependent upon the graduate program to which you’re applying. To learn more about program-specific requirements and to see what your program requires for application and admission, please visit our programs page.

Submitting Official Test Scores

You must take all required tests before your application is marked as completed and evaluated. You are responsible for requesting that official test scores be sent directly to the Graduate School from the testing agency. Test scores ARE NOT accepted by the applicant. Please allow 2-4 weeks from the date of your test or score request for delivery and processing of your scores. Your application status will be updated when we receive each official test score.
