Laurie Martin’s career evolved from bedside patient care to a coordinating role with home healthcare agency LHC Group. When the company announced an incentive program through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Martin saw the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
Zachary Badon earned his bachelor’s degree online 10 years after leaving college. That milestone gave him the confidence to keep going to earn an MBA degree, and now he’s ready to continue pushing through new doors and reaching for better opportunities.
“Where I’m at today, I couldn’t have done without the path I took with the online option. I had great interaction with my classmates, and with my professors. ... It’s one of the reasons I went back, because of that online option of how easy it is to be with classmates and work with professors. I still have a lot of friends from these online courses that I see and talk to every week.”
Brandy Sizemore has been an RN for 16 years and has served in several leadership roles. She didn’t need a BSN, but she knew she was capable of more. She earned her BSN online through UL Lafayette’s RN to BSN program, and it’s already helped her advance her career.
