Meet UL Lafayette nursing students building their careers through clinicals, simulation labs, Wellness Wednesday, and student organizations.
Real students, real stories. Nursing students at UL Lafayette start building clinical skills early: practicing on high-fidelity patient simulators in our simulation labs, completing weekly clinicals at health care institutions across the state, and running Wellness Wednesday, a free health screening clinic for the campus community. Many also join the UL Student Nurses Association for leadership and service opportunities, and top students are invited into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
