Ways to Get Involved
- Host an intern: Business majors can start internships in their junior year, and hospitality management and PLRM majors complete required internships before graduating. Learn about the Moody Business Internship Program, or email us to advertise a position at your organization.
- Speak to a class or student organization: Share the challenges and rewards of your career with a class, the Ragin' Hospitality Association, or PLRM's industry seminar. Contact us to set it up.
- Mentor a student: Offer resume reviews, interview practice, or career advice as students plan for life after graduation.
- Serve on an advisory board: Help shape our programs as a working professional, including through the Hospitality Management advisory board.
- Recruit our students: Meet PLRM students at their booth at oil and gas expos in Louisiana and Houston, or connect with students through Moody Business recruiting events.
- Teach as an adjunct faculty member: If you hold a master's degree and significant, current professional experience, you may qualify to teach with us as AACSB-recognized professionally qualified faculty.
- Offer a professional membership discount: If your professional organization, such as the Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management, the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen, or the American Association of Professional Landmen, offers a reduced student rate, let us know so we can share it with students.
