Serving Local Causes
Management majors use the principles of management to design, launch, and run fundraisers for local charities through social entrepreneurship projects. Hospitality management students run Lunch Club, a student-operated restaurant that serves the campus community.
Partnering With Industry
Professional land and resource management students work closely with the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen and meet employers at national oil and gas expos. Our hospitality management program draws on Acadiana's tourism and hospitality leaders through its advisory board, and industry professionals regularly speak to classes and student organizations across all three majors.
