Greek Excellence Awards
An annual celebration recognizing chapters, members, and advisors for outstanding achievements in leadership, scholarship, service, and campus involvement. The Greek Excellence Awards highlight the dedication of our community to uphold the highest standards of excellence and integrity.
Greek Week
A spirited week of friendly competitions, service projects, and community events that bring together all Fraternity and Sorority Life councils. Greek Week builds unity, strengthens relationships, and promotes the pride and tradition that make our community unique.
Southern Greek Leadership Association (SGLA)
Each year, student leaders represent UL Lafayette at the Southern Greek Leadership Association Conference. The experience includes leadership development sessions, networking opportunities, and workshops with peers from across the South—empowering attendees to bring new ideas and best practices back to campus.
Leadership Development
Beyond campus traditions, Fraternity and Sorority Life supports ongoing leadership growth through officer training, chapter development workshops, and campus partnerships. Members are encouraged to take on leadership roles within their organizations and the broader UL Lafayette community, gaining skills that last well beyond graduation.
Service & Philanthropy
Community engagement is central to Fraternity & Sorority Life. Each chapter contributes to local and national causes through volunteerism, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns. Collectively, our members dedicate thousands of hours to service each year, reflecting the University’s commitment to learning, leadership, and service.
