At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Greek Life is more than letters — it’s about finding your people, creating lifelong memories, and becoming part of a tradition that feels like home. With fraternities and sororities rooted in service, leadership, and brotherhood/sisterhood, every Ragin’ Cajun has a place to belong. Whether you're looking to lead, give back to the community, or build friendships that last well beyond college, Greek Life is where you’ll find your home on campus.

Every sorority and fraternity at UL Lafayette follows its own policies regarding recruiting and accepting new members. Some accept new members every semester, some accept new members only once in the fall, and others accept new members whenever there's enough interest.

Each group brings in new members differently, so your first step is exploring the councils.
