Graduate Admissions

Portfolio required, design background optional.

To apply to the Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) program, you’ll need to submit a portfolio of creative work as part of your application to the UL Lafayette Graduate School. This helps us understand your design thinking, visual communication, and potential whether your background is in architecture, another design field, or something entirely different.

We accept students from a wide range of academic and professional paths, and we’ll place you on the right track based on your previous experience.
