Peer Advising

A Peer Advisor serves as an additional unit of academic support for freshman and sophomore students in the Academic Success Center at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Peer advisors can help you with:

  • Picking classes
  • Finding information on academic policies and procedures
  • Your registration needs, general education courses, and waitlist procedures
  • Finding campus resources

They also provide advising based on their experiences as students at the University. Peer advisors hold drop-in and appointment hours. In addition to their advising duties, peer advisors may hold various on campus advising events.
