Academic counseling is available for UL Lafayette students who need assistance strategizing about their academic career.
Academic counseling meetings usually last 15-30 minutes. You can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with an advisor or stop by as a walk-in.

Academic counseling sessions will occur in the Academic Success Center in Lee Hall or virtually through Teams.
A one-on-one meeting with an academic advisor is a great way to take control of your collegiate experience and stay on track towards graduation. It’s a way for you to talk about your experiences as a student both in and out of the classroom. Conversations will be academic, and success focused.
Come to the Academic Success Center if you need to:
- Change your major
- Drop a class with a “W”
- Talk with an advisor about other academic related issues
