Commuter Students

Commuter students have several options for parking:

• Semester Permits

  • Cajun Field/Commuter Lot
    • All vehicles parked at Cajun Field must obtain a free commuter parking permit through their parking account. Busses and shuttle operation hours are available at Transit Schedule.
    • Cajun Field commuter permits are not night permits. 
  • Girard Park Circle Parking Garage floors 4-6
    • Permit-only parking. Permits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. $325 for fall or spring semester and $100 for the summer. 
  • 611 Garage
    • located on the Health Sciences Campus at 611 St. Landry Street.
    • Continuous loop shuttle service available to various locations on campus.
  • Night Permits
    • Night permits allow parking in many parking lots after 3 p.m.

• Hourly Parking via ParkMobile

  • Girard Park Circle Parking Garage Floors 1-3
    • This is an hourly park-and-pay location where individuals are required to pay for time parked using the ParkMobile app, website or phone number.
    • Rates:
      • 1 minute to 2 hours                $5.00
      • Each additional hour               $1.00
  • Mildred Street lot located at 101 Mildred Street - $1/hour, no minimum.
  • St. Mary Street lot located at 119 West St Mary Street (across from the Taco Bell entrance) - $1.75/hour, no minimum.
  • University Lot located at 333 East University Street - $1.75/hour, no minimum.
