Advance Credit Exams

Advance Credit Exams offer students who meet eligibility requirements the opportunity to earn credit for courses at UL Lafayette. 

Students can take select Advance Credit Exams during our Early Orientation program or prior to the start of the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Learn more about Early Orientation and pre-semester Advance Credit Exams below. 

Early Orientation Advance Credit Exams

Students who qualify and register for our Early Orientation program can take Advance Credit Exams the day before Orientation. To take Early Orientation Advance Credit Exams, you must also attend and complete the full, two-day Early Orientation program. 

After registering for Early Orientation, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions about Early Orientation Advance Credit Exam registration.

Other Advance Credit Exam Opportunities 

Any student who meets the individual exam qualifications can register for Advance Credit Exams before the start of the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

Spring 2025 Advance Credit Exams

Qualifications

Math ACT of 26 and Science ACT of 27 required.

Encouraged for Science and Engineering majors only.

 

Credit Earned

Students can earn up to 6 credit hours: CHEM 107 and CHEM 108
