Meet Our Student Staff

Our Student Orientation Staff (SOS) and SOUL Camp Mentors are the heart and soul of our operations. 

These impressive student leaders volunteer their spring and summer to participate in training and facilitate our Orientation and SOUL Camp programs. Selection to each staff is extremely competitive, and those selected represent the best and brightest of our University.

2025 Student Orientation Staff

The Student Orientation Staff works to facilitate our Orientation programs, welcoming over 6,000 new students & parents to campus each year and collectively volunteering over 15,000 hours each spring and summer.

2025 SOUL Camp Staff

SOUL Camp Mentors facilitate SOUL Camp, our Extended Orientation program that supplements New Student Orientation. Camp is designed to provide new students with the skills and networks needed to develop leadership skills and Ragin' Cajun spirit.
