The Graduate Certificate in Instructional Coaching program online includes four accelerated courses, allowing you to complete your certificate in as few as two semesters. 

This online education certificate leads to a Louisiana Department of Education add-on endorsement as an Instructional Coach. 

Total tuition for this program is $5,760 at a flat rate tuition of $480 per credit.

Program Requirements

To be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Instructional Coaching program online, you must have:

  • Valid teaching certificate
  • A cumulative or adjusted undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework or successful completion of a Master’s Degree in an education related field from an accredited institution.

 

To complete your application, you'll need to provide the following. With the exception of transcripts, all documents can be submitted through the online application portal.

  • Application fee ($25)
  • Official Transcripts from all universities attended 
  • Two letters of recommendation that address the candidate’s potential to become a teacher leader.

The Instructional Coach Graduate Certificate Program requires 12 graduate credit hours as listed below:

Because courses in this program will only be available online, the program may not be available to all applicants. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and its online programs must be in compliance in every state where a student is located. (Visit the Graduate Admissions page to learn more.) International students also may not be eligible. According to U.S. immigration regulations, F-1 students cannot pursue online degrees; international students in other visa categories (i.e., H-4, L2) are exempt from this restriction.
