Graduate Assistant Catalog Policies 

Graduate assistantships are categorized as Graduate Teaching Assistantships, Graduate Research Assistantships, and Graduate Assistantships. Definitions of each appointment type and policies governing assistantships are outlined in the University Catalog. Additional information is available from the Graduate School and the Office of Human Resources. 

Graduate Assistantship Offer Letter Generator 

Graduate assistantship offers must be made using this standardized (although customizable) offer letter generator. Offers can be made only to those formally admitted by the Graduate School in regular admission status. 

Graduate Assistantship Personnel Action Summary Form 

After an admitted graduate student has accepted your assistantship offer, use the Graduate Assistantship Personnel Action Summary webform to initiate the formal appointment of a graduate student as a GTA, GRA, or GA. It can also be used to make a fellowship appointment.
