The Office of Student Engagement & Leadership helps students turn their passions into purpose. We promote the benefits of student involvement as a co-curricular learning experience; where leadership, collaboration, and community come to life outside the classroom.
We also support more than 190 registered student organizations, offering workshops, retreats, training seminars, and one-on-one guidance to help them thrive. Whether you’re joining an existing organization or starting something new, our team is here to help you make your mark at UL Lafayette.
Our staff brings over 20 years of combined experience working with college students and campus organizations. We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming space where every student can feel supported, empowered, and ready to lead.
What We Offer
- A safe and welcoming environment for all students that fosters a sense of support and respect
- Guidance (walk-in or by appointment) to student organization leaders, members, and advisors
- Maintain and publish student organization policies
- Assist in developing new student organizations
- Leadership training opportunities for students
- Connections to facilitators for leadership programming
- A location for office space and small conference meetings for students
