Learning by Doing
Our students get real experience long before graduation. Finance majors research stocks on Bloomberg Terminals in the Maraist Financial Services Lab and present investment recommendations for a real portfolio to the UL Lafayette Foundation's Investment Committee. Economics majors complete their own original research projects. Insurance and risk management majors learn from the industry professionals who founded and support their program, and students across all three majors earn credit through internships with banks, insurers, and businesses across the region.
