Academics
Explore economics, finance, and insurance and risk management majors, minors, courses, and advising in UL Lafayette's Department of Economics & Finance.
In the Department of Economics & Finance, you won't just study theories. You'll learn to understand ever-changing fiscal policies and laws, think critically about business and financial strategy, and practice the ethics and professionalism every employer expects. Choose from three majors that each put real experience at the center: managing a real stock portfolio for the UL Lafayette Foundation, completing your own original economics research, or learning insurance and risk management in a program founded and supported by industry professionals.
Every degree is backed by the Moody College of Business's AACSB accreditation, and you can focus your major with concentrations in business law, human resource management, international business, or professional sales.
