To graduate from UL Lafayette, you are required to complete at least one major listed in the catalog.
While you can change your declared major, it is strongly recommended to declare one’s major at the beginning of your academic journey. This is suggested due to the following reasons:
- To avoid adding extra time as well as expense to your education.
- To avoid postponing as well as extending the time you are required to complete your general education courses.
Once you start taking more advanced classes, some of these classes may be offered in the fall but not in the spring, or vice-versa. In turn, this could potentially extend your graduation timeline beyond 4 years.
