The Academic Catalog is the official source for degree requirements, course descriptions, and academic policies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Which catalog year should you use?
- New and incoming students: Use the current catalog year. It reflects the degree requirements in effect for students entering this academic year.
- Current students: Use the catalog for your entry year — the year you first enrolled. Your degree requirements are set by the catalog in effect when you started, not by the current year's catalog. View the Academic Catalog and use the catalog year selector near the top of the page to choose your entry year.
If you have questions about which catalog year applies to you, your academic advisor can help.
Ways to use the catalog
- Save courses to "My Catalog": Add courses to your My Catalog list as you plan your semester, so you can find them again without searching from scratch.
- Explore minors: Browse the full list of minors offered across the university, not just the ones tied to your major.
- Explore all programs of study: See every degree, minor, and certificate offered at UL Lafayette in one place.
