Lafayette is a city of 125,000, about 2.5 hours from New Orleans and 4 hours from Houston. We have a rich cultural heritage, located in the center of "Cajun Country," which is an area of Louisiana with strong French influence. Lafayette has the best of both worlds: it is both a typical American city and a center of unique culture.
