The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology {residential} at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.This accreditation is valid through April 30, 2028.
After successfully completing the program, one will have met the academic and clinical requirements for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). The Clinic, well-known for its successful summer literacy project, recently received recognition from the Louisiana Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc., in the form of clinic funding, annual scholarships, and National Foundation Grants focused on the continued success of our literacy project and implementation of ASL services. Additional ongoing clinic partnerships include the Aphasia Center of Acadiana and the National Stuttering Association

The Master’s Program in Speech Language Pathology at UL Lafayette is fully accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. You will accomplish the breadth and depth of knowledge and experience required for national certification and state licensure through our state of the art coursework and our various on-campus and off-campus clinical settings. Have the specified number of clinical hours in a variety of clinical settings, and the coursework covers the depth and breadth of knowledge required for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
