Health & Wellness Series (Areté)

The College of the Arts’ Wellness Wednesdays Series has been retitled the Areté Series.

Rooted in the concept of Areté—the pursuit of excellence from within—the Areté Series is designed to support students in becoming the best versions of themselves. Recognizing that our lives are multidimensional, this series encourages growth as artists and students, as well as peers, leaders, and individuals.

Areté Series coaching is available every Wednesday, with the option to request appointments on other days as needed.

Certified coach Amy Taylor offers one-on-one conversations on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Navigating challenging classes

  • Setting semester, career, financial, or personal goals

  • Managing energy and wellness

  • Maintaining mental health and balance

While Amy is not a licensed counselor or therapist, she is available to support students and can assist with referrals or walk you to Counseling & Testing Services if needed.
